Round 8 of the Stronger Communities Programme in Cowan have now closed.
Each round of the Stronger Communities Programme makes up to $150,000 of Commonwealth funding available across the electorate of Cowan. This funding is for small capital projects which improve community participation, and contribute to the vibrancy and viability of our northern suburbs.
If nominated, eligible organisations can receive a grant of between $2,500 and $20,000 for a project. Receiving funding is a two-stage process - first expressions of interest must be sent to Dr Aly's office and considered by the Cowan consultation committee, then approved organisations must apply directly with the Department.
First stage: expressions of interest
22 February – 17 March 2023
Any eligible organisation in Cowan can submit an expression of interest to Dr Aly's office. To apply, please complete the expression of interest form by no later than 5.00 pm AWST, Friday 17 March 2023.
You will need to read the grant opportunity guidelines before applying. Download the guidelines from the GrantConnect website here.
Please note: The Stronger Communities Programme in Cowan is routinely oversubscribed. Submitting an expression of interest does not guarantee that you will be approved for funding. The Cowan consultation committee may also decide to nominate your organisation for less funding (or more funding) than you have applied for.
